One of Greece’s most astonishingly beautiful beaches, Lalaria beach, is located at the north-east part of Skiathos. Most -if not all- first time visitors to the beach are stunned by the grand, majestic beauty and awe of the place! The famous, enormous rock with the hole in the middle is a really magnificent natural element that will undoubtedly impress you. Additionally, the north wind hits furiously the steep, white rocks, creating for thousands of years now the perfectly rounded, white pebbles, which locals call “lalaria”. The wild beauty of the place, along with the crystal clear waters and the white pebbles is what catches the eye of the visitors, offering a unique, unforgettable experience. The only way to get to the beach is through the sea: you can either rent a small boat, or you can join the daily cruises (organized by local businesses), starting from the port early in the morning. Over the last few years, locals have been trying to help preserve this wonderful beach by advising all visitors to not take pebbles with them on their way home, so that the natural beauty of the place remains intact.
