Mandraki Forest

Mandraki Forest is located just behind Koukounaries, on the north side of Skiathos island. As one of only three natural pine forests in all of Greece, it is a unique biotope, with its pines growing on pure sandy soil.                           

If you are feeling adventurous, take the bus to bus stops no. 23/24 and explore this enchanted walker’s paradise. Its scenic coastal paths and wooded trails will take you to the breathtaking, unspoiled Mandraki, Elias and Agistros beaches. Walking in this magical forest, the only sounds you will hear are the crickets and the soft wind in the treetops. Experience its natural beauty, and enjoy pure relaxation.
