On the road towards Saint Alexandros’ church, at the end of the dirt road, if you take a right you will meet the wonderful chapel of Holy Mary ‘Glykophilousa’. The chapel is built onto a huge rock and seems, literally, to be hanging from the edge of the cliff! Also, it was renovated in the beginning of the 19th c. Visitors can rest at its beautiful, big yard, while, also, enjoying the small church’s magical view of the Castle. Holy Mary ‘Glykophilousa’ is celebrated on the 12 of September, every year. On the eve of the celebration, all locals attend a wake, which takes place at the church.
