Agios (Saint) Fanourios

‘Saint Fanourios’ chapel is located around 800m away from bus stop number 4 (Acropolis), on a hill. The chapel was built in 1950 and its mesmerizing, panoramic view of the island will, absolutely, amaze you! The saint is celebrated on the 27^th of August, every year. On the eve of the feast, all locals attend the traditional vespers while, at the same time, offering their well-known, homemade, Greek ‘fanouropita’ (Saint Fanourios’ pie).
