Named Big Banana and Little Banana Beach in English, both beaches are in a picture perfect pine fringed cove, with golden flecked sand. The calm, crystal clear, green/blue waters very gently shelve into the sea, making them pleasant for swimming. The quality and fabulous sunsets of both beaches are unbeatable. Big Banana is well organized, with luxury sunbeds, umbrellas, water sports and a high-end restaurant. To reach both beaches, you can take the regular bus to the last station, bus stop no.26, and take the short steep path down to the water. Alternatively, you can park your own car at the Koukounaries public parking and take the complimentary minibus shuttle to the beach. Facing the sea, on the right end of Big Banana, you can over climb the rocks to find Little Banana Beach. While offering a less organized beach experience, Little Banana is popular with nudists and naturists, with a very relaxed vibe.
