Agia (Saint) Paraskevi

Saint Paraskevi is located at ‘Platania’s valley, a few steps away from the bus stop number 16. It is a stone-built church, with a big yard, which dates back to 1896. The church is celebrated on the 26^th of July, every year. On the eve of the celebration, all locals attend the church and chant vespers. At the same time, at the church’s yard, the locals host a big feast which includes dancing, plenty of food and, of course, a lot of premium, local wine!
