Agios (Saint) Taxiarchis

Saint Taxiarchis’ chapel is located in a 500m distance prior to the Monastery of Evangelistria, on the left side of the road. It is considered by many as the perfect ‘stop’, where you can take a break and enjoy its unique view of the island. Also, visitors can freshen up from the chapel’s natural pouring-water, which leads a few meters away to a wonderful water tank full of goldfish! The saint is celebrated on the 8^th of November every year.
