Taverna Ouzeri Kabourelias
In 1969, Ioannis Kabourelias, originally from the coast of Asia Minor, and nick-named “The little Turk” by the locals, opened the first ouzo taverna in the Old Port of Skiathos. Ouzeries have a fascinating history dating back to the refugees fleeing Asia Minor in the early 20th century. Still today, tourists and locals alike consider Kabourelias Ouzo Taverna their favorite place to enjoy ouzo, tsipouro and wine served with the traditional appetizer dishes. In addition to its tasty ouzo appetizers, Kabourelias Ouzo Taverna is equally popular for its excellent, traditional Mediterranean cuisine and assortment of fresh fish and seafood.
All this, and more, with a beautiful view of the Old Port and the Bourtzi peninsula.
