Skiathos Cruises

• Around the Island by boat One of the most interesting excursions of our Travel Agency is Discover Skiathos. That’s because many of 66 beaches have no access by car. That’s why we offer you this day to swim and photograph whatever we can’t from the mainland.We will visit Dark cave with a stop for photos and then we will have a 2 hour stop at Lalaria Beach, 1 hour in Kastro (Castle) for swimming and 2 hours in Tsougrias Island, which is located right opposite Skiathos harbour.

• Alonnissos – Skopelos Ariadne is a boat, which will sail us in the clear blue waters of Sporades having the first 2 hours stop in Alonnissos, the island with the famous water park full of seals. There we will visit also the old town of Alonissos. Our next station will be Skopelos where we will stay for 2 hours, giving you the opportunity to wander through the narrow and cobbled streets of the amazing Island and visit the Folklore Museum and the exhibition.   In the church of St. John where the movie MAMMA MIA was filmed, we will enjoy the deep blue sea, lush nature and the magnificent scenery. After the screening of the film that had great worldwide success, the island became a centre of attracting tourists ,as well as Skiathos.

• MAMMA MIA Departure at 10:00 from the old port of Skiathos by Ariadne boat. First stop is Lalaria beach where we will stay for 1 hour swimming. Then we visit for 1.5 hour the church of Ag. Ioannis in Skopelos island. Last stop is the town of Skopelos where we will stay for 2 hours in the center of the island for lunch.Return to Skiathos at 19:00.

• Romance Trip This is a wonderful trip just to admire the sunset of Skiathos under sounds of Zorba music and drinking the delicious traditional wine of Skiathos. You can photograph the sunset noting that Santorini has a serious opponent.

A wonderful guided bus tour round Skiathos, admiring the green forests that blend harmoniously with the blue of the sea.

a.Vigles – Kalyvia – Agios Taxiarhis 

Leaving the center of Skiathos we will ascend to the Northeast place of Skiathos. Passing through Vigles and Kalyvia, our first stop will be Agios Taxiarchis, a beautiful chapel with magnificent views, under which passes drinking water and is one of the best natural springs of Skiathos.

b.Panagia Evangelistria’s Monastery – Museums 

Then we will depart to Panagia Evangelistria’s Monastery, which is one of the most historic monasteries in Greece that played a significant role in the revolution of 1821. That was also the place where the Greek flag was first created. There we’ll find Father Joseph who will tell us the whole story about the Monastery. Optionally you can visit the 3 monastery’s museums (folklore museum, Museum of sacred relics, Museum of Balkan wars).

c.Kounistra’s Monastery Skiathos

After our tour in this monastery we will depart to Koukounaries (Skiathos’s southwestern part) , which is the touristic area of the island with most beaches, hotels etc. At Troulos area we will make a detour to move to the northern end of the island for a short visit in Kounistra, a fantastic monastery, built in the forest.

d.Koukounaries Beach – Troulos Beach

Next we will continue our route moving to Koukounaries in order to admire many of the beaches of the island. Then we will arrive in the most famous beach in Skiathos (Koukounaries) also known as golden sand. Free time for 1,5-hour swimming and after that we will have our lunch at a Troulos’ Beach taverna right beside the waves.
